On April 12th, 2024, Guwahati came alive with the vibrant celebration of Bihu Adda 2024, organized by Radio Gup-Shup 94.3FM. This lively event captured the essence of Assamese culture and tradition, marking the arrival of spring and the Assamese New Year. The festival was a harmonious blend of music, dance, and festive joy, offering attendees a rich cultural experience.

Bihu Adda 2024 showcased mesmerizing Bihu dances performed by local artists adorned in traditional Mekhla Chador. Judges and Radio Gup-Shup visited several apartments where residents participated in these competitions. The celebration also featured a performance by a Husori team. Winners from each apartment took part in the grand finale of Bihu Adda, where the core competition was the cooking contest. The cooking contestants competed against each other, with the winners selected by the chef. The grand finale, held at Central Mall, Christian Basti, also included a musical performance by local artists.
